Message from Elaine.Minter: For those that missed 'Wedgies' HASH - here are pictures of the 'on on' from the 'Snug' bar in old Nice. .What is remarkable is the smiling 'Farty Bum' who recovered amazingly well from a very nasty fall, costing her two front teeth and a split lip! Poor you! Then the incredible unexpected arrival of 'The Hulk' for a few hours in 'Nice' on Tuesday night. Instead of going to the snug, he was directed to the 'wrong' Cathedral (the Russian) and ended up eating 'couscous, near the station! On on xxx Click here.

This Winter run and walk around 'Cap d'Antibes' will start from 'La Pinede', where the Summer Jazz festival takes place.

Meeting at 15:00 for 15:30 start.

The 'On On' will be at 'La Capitole' 26, Avenue Amiral Courbet.
(The 'tourist office' is on the corner).
3 course menu with 1/4 l wine: 13.50 Euros.

How to get to the run:

Take exit '44' 'Antibes/Juan les Pins' from the 'A8' autoroute.
Follow the signs to the centre of 'Juan les Pins'.
At some point you will reach the sea road.
Turn left keeping the sea on your right and follow the road as if going towards 'Cap d'Antibes'.
'La Pinede' is an open area, with pine trees on your right, just before the 'Belles Rives' hotel and almost directly opposite the big white 'La Provencal' hotel, which is being renovated.

If the weather is nice, parking could be tricky but there is always space in one of the small side roads opposite 'La Pinede'.

The 'On On' is about 10 minutes walk away back along the seafront.

Don't forget to bring an extra layer, in case it is chilly in the circle.
