The U.K. Nash Hash 28/08 – 31/08/09. Organised by Edinburgh HHH,
Porquerolles Weekend 18th - 20th September 2009
Brief details here.
Anyone who wants to see Padre's new home can look up:
Pedo's rescue hash; certainly one of the easiest start points to find in Sophia Antipolis, normally it's near impossible to find anything in the Parc.
Reasonable turnout for one of the hottest days of the year, a good selection of returnees, virgins and some long distant (Australian) visitors, plus hard core hashers.
The run/walk started more or less on time and featured shaded trails through woods down to the dry river bed and through the permanent 'Graffiti Gallery' , up towards the motorway to the beer stop, taking in the very well preserved Roman Viaduct.
The walkers had a long wait for the runners, several runners were overheard moaning about too many false trails, having to run all over the Parc, missing flour etc etc.
At the circle there were cries of 'too much water in the river' , 'not hot enough', 'not enough hills', 'not long enough'.
Pedo, even though he reported his mug had been stolen.
Prestreesed, for ending up on the wrong trail.
Returnees Jos and Martin.
Supermarket trolley for supplying before hash drinks.
Visitors, Vance from Australia and Sex Jockey.
Shit of the week was awarded to Lazarus for malingering and having messages on a thigh patch, Old Tart was a close runner-up. Punishment was administered by Sex Jockey.
Dinner was at Pedo's favourite restaurant L'Oiseau Qui Chante in Antibes, certainly good value for money but you do need to be very very patient.
Also see the Receeding Hare Line!
