Well if you can’t make it to the Bangkok Harriettes 25th Anniversary run in Prachinburi (see www.bangkokharriettes.com ) and you have cast your ballot ,or not, for Sego or Sarko, the best thing to do is to spend the day in the bar. No, not the Var but in Le Bar sur Loup.

Meet by the centre sportif, avenue des Ecoles at 11.00 for 11.30 start.

Directions:

Coming from the west. Find your way to Chateauneuf- Pre du Lac roundabout (D3 from Valbonne; D2085 from Le Rouret, Roquefort les Pins, Villeneuve Loubet and A8 autoroute; D2085 from Grasse). Take the D2210 for 3km. As you enter the village of le Bar sur Loup you will see some big red signs for the restaurant L’Ecole des Filles, just before you reach them turn right , immediately before a big red sign on the left, follow the road for 100m to a T junction, turn right and go another 100m to the parking on the right.

Coming from the east. Take D2210 from Tourrettes , Vence, St Jeannet, Gattieres, Pont de la Manda, etc. Follow the road through the village of Bar sur Loup, watch out for the big red restaurant signs for L’Ecole des Filles, just past this restaurant turn left, follow the road for 100m to the T junction, turn right and the parking is a further 100m on the right.

On On. School dinners at 2pm at L’Ecole des Filles. Be properly dressed in your school uniform, gym slip, etc or be liable for detention, 100 lines or some other dire punishment.
