Jobsworth
Directions to the "Wrong Way remembered" run

A new year, an old run. To help you to dust off the cobwebs, Jobsworth invites you to meet in the south car park of Cap 3000 (the bit between the shopping centre & the sea, by the Melodine café) in St Laurent du Var at 15h00 for 15h30 on New Year's day. (Note, they tend to shut off many of the entrances to the Cap 3000 car park on a Sunday; if you can't get in easily, park on the road nearby & walk up).

This being the holiday period, the run will start late-ish & will be a town run (I know, you all miss my vertiginous marathons up mountain sides). The run will no doubt end in gathering dusk, so bring your woollies & torches to amuse yourselves.

On on depends on numbers (& restaurant availability on a notoriously sleepy day!), but we will be close to the port of St Laurent & will find an appropriate eatery there.

Finally, why the "Wrong Way remembered" run? Simple - those with a long memory will remember the last time that a run set off from Cap 3000, when Wrong Way (a hasher whose name, for once needs no explanation) drove 2 hours from his home near Avignon, to get lost at the first check & promptly drive all the way home in disgust! 4 hours drive for 5 minutes hashing takes some beating!
